The following images are of what I saw recently around me.
Taraxicum arakii: a dandelion indigenous to Japan, very rare nowadays. It is considered to have been driven out by Taraxicum officinale, an invader from Europe. The main difference between the two lies in the shape of involucral bracts; in T. officinale, they are recurved, while those of T. arakii being straight up.
Taraxicum albidum: another native of Japan.
