Time flies. Half the year has already gone, feeling too fast to me. Anyway, on the second of July, I was in a valley taking photos of Opithandra primuloides inhabiting crevices in the rock, which forms a cliff. They looked re-thrived, though had been dried up a week or so ago, as getting abundant rainfall for days. There were two different kinds of Sedum plants at the point close to the Opithandra primuloides.
A couple of days later, I found myself in a wide-open meadow with plenty of nature at the central part of Shimane, looking for wildflowers. In the meant time, I saw and took pictures of four different kinds of species, three of them Shimane RDB lists in it as endangered species.
Of all eight species below, Shimane RDB designates five as endangered species. I put an asterisk just before each of them.

It was in flower as if in concealment in a thicket of Japanese silver grass in the meadow.
