Here are three kinds of spring
ephemerals; Anemone reddeana,
Fritillaria amabilis, and
Fritillaria x makotoi. They
bloom in early spring before the
time deciduous broad-leaf tree´s
branches over them develop leaves.
They die back in May. And, here is a
species I saw for the first time:
Cardamine anemonoides occurring
in the beech forest.
