Late in early July, I came across a few
plants of
Sedum
makinoi (Marubamannengusa) still
holding blackish-red anthurs just
outside pollen in the shade of a fern on
the side slope of a rural road. The
anthurs that cover pollen do not last
long; they are somewhat challenging to
see in vivid color.
