The images in the thumbnail list put below are of the plants I saw in early March. Some Adonis multiflora were found ready to bloom, just making their appearance from underground. Anemone keisukeana referred to as a spring ephemeral that dies back in early June, are also found just starting to bloom getting lots of sunlight, broadleaf trees above them having yet to put forth their new leaves.
Pacing up and down riverside in the country, I happened to find some Salix gracilistyla along with Alnus serrulatoides. S. gracilistyla used to be at times seen around me before, but now it doesn't.
