Acer micranthum,
a small deciduous tree, generally 6-10m in height, a cross-section
growing to around 15cm, with gray-brown barks, is common in
mountainous regions. Leave are opposite, the blades of which measure
5-8cm in diameter, palmately cleft in five lobes; central 3 of them
extend in the way of a tail, bases being heart-shaped, with double
serrations on margins. Racemes bear 4mm-across small yellow-green
flowers in them. Petals and sepals are 5 in number, respectively;
sepals are yellow-green, close to round, as small as 1mm in length.
