Achillea alpina ssp. ubcartilagineais
a perennial herb inhabiting grasslands and growing to 40-75cm in
height. On-stem leaves are small, without petioles, pinnately
shallowly cleft, with small serrations on the lobes. Flower heads
measure 12-13mm long, with 5-6 ligulate flowers that are white or
light red. Involucres are bell-like and spherical-shaped. Bloom
time: July-September.
