Achyranthes longifolia is
an approximately 90cm-in-height perennial found in forests in
mountainous regions. Leaves are of opposite phyllotaxis, 7-20cm
long, 1-5cm wide, in the shape of a lanceolate to broadly lanceolate,
with tips becoming narrower to points and smooth surfaces glossy.
Stem tips and axils emerge spikes and somewhat sparsely set small
green flowers. Bloom time: August-September. |
