Aconus gramineus / Sekishou セキショウ

 　
Acorus gramineus, an evergreen perennial that grows in clusters at the water's edges. The rhizomes are slender, 5-10cm long and 4-6cm wide, with flat, sword-like leaves 20-45cm long and 5-10mm wide, with unclear midribs. The flower stems are triangular in cross-section, measuring 9-29cm long; the inflorescences extend upward, reaching 10-24cm, and their tips become pointed; the flowers are yellow to greenish-yellow.
