Adenocaulon himalaicum
is a perennial herb found in the shade of a tree; the stem grows to
50-80cm in height and branches in the upper parts. Leaves are
10-20cm long, in a triangular-cordate shape, and resemble those of
Petasites japonicus but differ in that tips are somewhat
pointed, and the petioles are with wings. Flower heads have female
flowers around and bisexual flowers in the central parts. Bloom
time: August-October. |
