Agrimonia pilosa, a
common species that grows wild in fields and mountains, is 40-90cm
in height, with hairs throughout, sharp serrations on leaf margins,
and many glandular spots on the leaf's backsides. Flowers, yellow,
in raceme-like inflorescences, measure 6-10mm in diameter. During
the fruiting season, the calyx tubes are approximately 3 mm long,
with about 3 mm long hooked prickles surrounding their margins.
