Ajuga nipponensis
is a perennial herb found on roadsides or in relatively light
forests growing to 10-25cm in height. The whole is with long white
hair. The bases of the plant have scale-like leaves, and on-stem
leaves are of alternate phyllotaxis, 3-5cm in length, 1.5-3cm in
width, in the shape of an oblanceolate with undulated margins. Stem
tops emerge 4-6cm-in-length inflorescences with light purple or
white labiate flowers. Corollas measuring 1cm in length. Bloom time:
April-May. |
