Ajuga nipponensis
is a perennial herb found on roadsides or in
relatively light forests, growing to a height of 10-25cm. The whole
is with long white hair. The bases of the plant have scale-like
leaves, and on-stem leaves are of alternate phyllotaxis, 3-5cm in
length, 1.5-3cm in width, in the shape of an oblanceolate with
undulated margins. Stem tops produce 4-6 cm in length inflorescences
with light purple or white labiate flowers. Corollas measuring 1cm
in length. Bloom time: April-May. |
