Aralia cordata
is a perennial plant found in fields and mountains, growing 1 to 1.5
meters tall. The stalk bears neutral flowers on the upper portion
and male flowers on the lower part. The young shoots may be as
popular as wild vegetables. Some people keep some in cultivation.
Bloom time: August-September.
