Arisaema heterophyllum,
associated with something like a swan, inhabits grasslands or open
forests in mountainous regions, standing 0.6-1.2m, with pseudostems
30-70cm in length, and with single leaves pedately parted. Flower
stalks rise higher than the level of the leaves. Spathes are
generally green, their limb tips extend in a tailway, and appendages
curve in an S-letter way in the lower part and then go straight
upward. Bloom time: May-June. |
