Arisaema heterophyllum, associated
with something like a swan, inhabits grasslands or open forests in
mountainous regions, standing 0.6-1.2m, with pseudostems 30-70cm in
length, and with single leaves pedately parted. Flower stalks become
higher than leaf level. Spathes are generally green, their limb's
tips extend in a tailway, and appendages curve in an S-letter way in
the lower part and then go straight upward. Bloom time: May-June. |
