Aster glehnii var. hondoensis
is a perennial found in grasslands in hilly districts. Its stems,
measuring 1-1.5m in height, feel rough, with short hairs throughout,
as do the leaves. The leaves are long and oblong, measuring 13-19cm
long, with serrated margins. Many white flower heads bloom in
corymbs on the upper parts, measuring approximately 1.5cm in
diameter. Involucres are tubular-campanulate, 3-3.5cm long; the
involucre bracts are pale green with dense short hairs. Bloom time:
September-October. |
