Aster subulatus var.
obtusifolius is a native-to-North-America annual herb brought in
hundreds of years ago and has been a weed in many districts. It
branches well, growing to 0.5-1.2m in height; leaves are linear,
keeping the width the same from bases to ends - bases embracing
stems a bit. Flower heads measure 5-6mm; ray florets are white,
rarely light purple. Bloom time: August-October. |
