Atriplex subcordata is an annual herb in sandy soil on seashores, 40-60cm in height.
Leaves attach in an alternate arrangement, 3-8cm long, 2-4cm wide,
in the shape of a triangular ovate to lanceolate, with coarse
notches on the margins. After the flower, the female flower's bracts
grow to 0.6-1cm long. Bloom time: August-November.
