Bidens pilosa var. minor, an annual herb widely seen in the tropical to temperate regions of the world, came from abroad in this country and spread widely. Though the whole resembles Bidens pilosa var. pilosa, it has 4-7 white ligulate flowers on flower heads. The ligulate flowers are generally acarpous; instead, tubular flowers bear fruit. Bloom time: September-November.
