Boehmeria tricuspis var. unicuspis occurs
on somewhat damp forest edges or trails and grows to 0.5-1m in
height. Leaves are oval to oval-like oblong, with tips pointed in a
tail way, margins have 10-20 pairs of serrations, and bases are
circular to somewhat cuneate. Axils emerge long peduncles; those
from upper axils set red-brown female inflorescences in a raceme
way, and male inflorescences, yellow-white, put themselves on lower
axils in the same way. Bloom time: July-September. |
