Caltha palustris var. enkoso is
a perennial that crawls sideways in wetlands or at the water's edge,
not erect, extending to 50cm in length. Leaves are 5-10cm long,
orbicular, with shallow serrations on the margins. Sepals, yellow,
five in number, are petaloid. As flowering is over, the stalk-top
portion nodes begin to root and sprout. Bloom time: May-July. |
