Canavalia lineata is
a perennial vine inhabiting seashores. The stem grows well to reach
as far as 5m off. The leaf consists of 3 lobes thick in the obovate
or orbicular shape, 6-12cm in length, 4-10cm in width—leaf axils
deriver cymes with 2 or 3 light red-purple flowers in each of them.
Legume pods with seeds are big, measuring 5-10cm in length and
3-3.5cm in width, with which 2-5 sources exist in each. Bloom time:
June-September. |
