Centipeda minima is a
miniature annual commonly found in yards, roadsides, or fields.
Stems are slender, branch well, and crawl on the ground to take
roots from some spots. Of alternate phyllotaxis, leaves measure
1-2cm long, 3-6mm wide, in the shape of a cuneate, with 3-5
serrations on tips. Axils set small, 3-4mm across, spherical flower
heads; the flower heads comprise tubular flowers alone. Bloom time:
July-October. |
