Cephalanthera falcata is a perennial orchid species inhabiting deciduous tree forests, with stems and ridges measuring 30-70cm in height. Leaves, with some parallel veins, 5-10 in number, embrace branches at bases of opposite phyllotaxis, in the broad-lanceolate shape, each 8-10cm in length and 2-4cm in width. On the shoot apexes, C. falcata sets 3-12 half-open bright yellow flowers; on their lips are some yellowish-brown ridges. Bloom time: April-June.cm in length and 2-4cm in width.
