Cephalanthera
longibracteata is a perennial herb inhabiting deciduous tree
forests, with stems measuring 30-50cm in height. Oval-like
lanceolate-shape, 6-8 in number leaves are of alternate phyllotaxis,
each 10-15cm in length. It has short white hair-like swellings on
the stem's ridges, the leaf's back surfaces, margins,
inflorescences, and ovaries. Shoot apexes make several approximately
one-centimeter-in-length white flowers, which bloom upwards
half-open. Bloom time: April-June. |
