Cephalotaxus harringtonia, an
evergreen shrub or small tree with dark brown bark, commonly occurs
in dark, damp, broad-leaved forests or cryptomeria forests in
mountainous regions. Leaves are 3-5cm long and 3-4mm wide, in a
linear shape, and arrange themselves flat left and right, with upper
surfaces dark green and back covered with two stomatal bands. Bloom
time: March-April. |
