Chrysanthemum indicum var. maruyamanum is
a perennial herb inhabiting rocks on cliffs, rooting in crevices;
this is endemic to a small part of Shimane Prefecture. Leaves are
smaller than their original species, C.
indicum, cleft
halfway in three lobes. Outer involucral bracts are linear, while C.
indicum,
being in the shape of an oblong. Bloom time: October-November. |
