Chrysosplenium macrostemon var. shiobarense
is a perennial herb found in wet places along valleys in mountainous
regions. Its stems measure 4-18cm in height. Leaves are opposite,
with serrations on the upper margins. Calyx lobes are yellow-green
and open flat in flowering time. The eight stamens are long, and the
anthers on their tops are dark red-purple. Bloom time: April-May. |
