Chrysosplenium macrostemon var. shiobarense is
a perennial herb found in wet places along the valleys in
mountainous regions, with stems measuring 4-18cm in height. Leaves
are opposite, with serrations on the upper parts of the margins.
Calyx lobes are yellow-green and open flat in flowering time.
Stamens, eight in number, are long, and anthers on their tops are
dark red-purple. Bloom time: April-May. |
