Chysosplenium tosaense is a perennial inhabiting wetland
along the valleys in mountainous regions, extending runners in the
ground. Leaves in rosettes are orbicular, 0.4-1.7cm in length, the
bases heart-shaped. Flower stalks to measure 5-10cm in height, with
one or two alternate leaves. Flowers are 3mm across, and calyx lobes
are green and open flat. Anthers are yellow. Bloom time: April-May. |
