Cirsium buergeri is a perennial herb that reaches a
height of 1-2m, characterized by erect stems that branch well at the
upper portions and are covered in short white hairs. Leaves on
stems, measuring 15-25cm in length, are oblong-like lanceolate,
cleft to approximately halfway in a pinnate way. Light red-purple
flowers come out on branch tips and bloom upward or diagonally.
Radical leaves at the ground level are gone during flowering. Bloom
time: August-October. |
