Cirsium chokaiense is a perennial herb that stands
erect, reaching 1-2m in height, with branching at the upper parts.
The leaves on the stems gather in the middle parts, measuring
20-30cm in length, and are pinnately cleft into segments with sharp
prickles on the margins. Red-purple flowers bloom diagonally
downwards. As for radical leaves (rosette) on the ground, they have
already gone by bloom time. Bloom time: August-September. |
