Cirsium sieboldii is
a perennial inhabiting wetland; the stems, somewhat scapiform,
measure 0.5-1m in height, and the leaves on stems are small in size
and number. Leaves on the bottom, 15-50cm, make rosettes, each
deeply cleft in lobes, still alive in bloom. The flowers are purple
and open, facing downwards and turning upwards after the flower.
Bloom time: September-October. |
