Clematis lasiandra is
a climbing shrub found on low mountain edges, with biternate
compound leaves. Leaflets are oval, measuring 2-3cm in length,
coarse serrations on margins, and pointed tips. Current year's new
branches bear cymes at axils and set 2-3 light red-purple flowers in
them. The flowers are bell-shaped, open halfway, and comprise four
1.5-2cm-long sepals. Bloom time: August-October. |
