Clematis lasiandra is a climbing shrub on low mountain
edges with biternate compound leaves. Leaflets are oval, measuring
2-3cm long, with coarse serrations on margins and pointed tips. The
new branches of the current year bear cymes at the axils and set 2-3
light red-purple flowers. The flowers are bell-shaped, open halfway,
and comprise four 1.5-2cm-long sepals. Bloom time: August-October. |
