Corchoropsis tomentosa is
a 30-90cm-tall perennial herb borne in roadsides, fields, etc.,
having much stellate hair on the stems, leaves, sepals, capsules,
etc. Leaves are opposite, oval, 2-7cm in length, 1.5-3.0cm in width.
Flowers, yellow, 1.5-1.8cm in diameter, come out singly on the
peduncles from the leaf axils. Bloom time: August-September.
