Corydalis indica,
a 20-50cm high biennial herb, occurs
in somewhat damp places. The whole is soft; if it sustains
injuries, it emits odors. Leaves are bi- to tri-pinnately
cleft into acceptable segments. Flowers, red-purple,
1.2-1.8mm long, are tightly packed on the upper parts of the
stems in a racemose way. Capsules are narrow, oblong, and
approximately 1.5cm in length. Bloom time: April-June. |
