Crassocephalum crepidioides is
an annual herb originating in Africa. Stems branch well at upper
parts and grow to 30-70cm in height. Leaves are in an alternate
arrangement, 10-20cm long, in the shape of an obovate-like long
oblong, the lower part ones being pinnately cleft. Inflorescences
droop at the upper parts and set flower heads downwards; the flower
heads comprise delicate tubular flowers, with the upper parts
red-brown and the lower parts white. Bloom time: August-October. |
