Crassocephalum crepidioides is
an annual herb originating in Africa. Stems branch well at the upper
parts and grow to 30-70cm tall. Leaves are arranged alternately,
10-20cm long, obovate-oblong, with the lower parts pinnately cleft.
Inflorescences droop at the upper parts and set flower heads
downwards; the flower heads comprise delicate tubular flowers, with
the upper parts red-brown and the lower parts white. Bloom time:
August-October. |
