Damnancanthus indicus ssp. major is an evergreen shrub
growing in an evergreen forest with a 50-100cm height. The branch
alternatively arranges a large and a small pair of opposite leaves.
There are sharp thorns on stems, which are shorter than half of a
plate, making a clear difference from another sub-species, D.
indicus ssp. indicus. Bloom time: April-May. |
