Damnancanthus indicus ssp. major
is an evergreen shrub growing in an evergreen
forest with a height of 50-100cm. The branch alternatively arranges
a large and a small pair of opposite leaves. There are sharp thorns
on stems, which are shorter than half of a plate, making a clear
difference from another subspecies, D. indicus ssp. indicus. Bloom
time: April-May. |
