Eclipta prostrata, an
annual of 20-70cm in height, grows in damp places on roadsides,
especially those close to paddies. Stems and leaves have bristles
and feel sandy. Leaves are alternate, 3-10cm long, 0.5-2.5cm wide,
in the shape of a lanceolate. Flower heads measure approximately 1cm
in diameter, with two rows of white ligulate flowers around them and
green-white tubular ones in the center parts. Bloom time:
