Erechtites hieracifolia: An
annual herb originating in North America. Feeling soft stems grow to
0.5-1.5m in height. Leaves measure 5-50cm long, in linear-like
lanceolate shape, with uneven serrations on margins, occasionally
rupture palmately, and embracing stems on upper parts. Panicles
emerge on the stem's upper legs and set many small flower heads
facing upward. The flower heads comprise delicate tubular flowers,
with the corolla's tip pale yellow to green-yellow and its lower
parts white. Involucres measure 1-1.5cm long, with inner involucral
bracts orderly forming single rows, and outer ones are significantly
small. Bloom time: September-October. |
