Euphorbia maculata is
an annual herb, a native of North America, now
naturalized in western Japan; stems tinge light red and
are erect or diagonal, growing to 20-40cm in height.
Leaves are in opposite arrangement, 1.5-3.5cm long, in
an elliptical shape, and the right and left are
irregular in the form at the bases. Flowers come in
sparse cyathium inflorescences borne on branch tops.
