Gentiana scabra var. buergeri is a perennial of 20-80cm
in height, occurring in grasslands in fields and mountains, standing
erect or diagonally upward. Leaves are opposite, each in the oval-lanceolate
shape, lacking petioles and basal parts embracing the stems. On the
upper portions, stem tips and leaf axils bear blue-purple flowers
4-5cm long. Bloom time: September-November. |
