Geranium shikokianum
is a perennial herb found in grasslands in mountainous regions, with
coarse hairs on stems and peduncles divaricating or facing
downwards. The leaves, 5-10cm in width, are palmately cleft five in
the middle to profound way, with hairs on both the upper and back
sides. Flowers, red-purple, measure 3cm in diameter; there are hairs
at the bases of petals and longer ones on sepals. Bloom time:
