Geum japonicum is a 40-80cm tall perennial herb found in
mountains and fields. Its soft hair grows thick all over. The
radical leaves are a pinnate compound, 10-20cm long, with sharply
serrated margins. The on-a-stem leaves are cleft into three lobes.
The flowers are yellow, 1.5-2cm in diameter, and bloom from June to
August.
