Goodyera macrantha is
a perennial orchid species inhabiting evergreen forests; stems
scrawl sideways, and their upper portions grow diagonally upwards to
4-10cm in height. Leaves, some in number, are of alternate
phyllotaxis; approximately 3cm in length, their surface velvety, and
some white spots exist along veins. Shoot apex generally sets two
flowers roughly 3cm in size, red-tinged white. Flowers are
semi-open, lips somewhat short, and the tips circularly curl down.
Bloom time: July-August. |
