Goodyera macrantha is
a perennial orchid species inhabiting evergreen forests, the stems
scrawling sideways, and their upper portions grow diagonally upwards
to 4-10cm in height. Leaves, some in number, are alternate
phyllotaxis, each approximately 3cm in length, their surface
velvety, and some white spots exist along veins. Shoot apex
generally sets two flowers of roughly 3cm in size, the color
red-tinged white. The flowers are semi-open, the lips somewhat
short, and the tips circularly curl down. Bloom time: Jul.-Aug. |
