Helonias orientalis
'white'
is a dummy name for the white form of Helonias
orientalis,
which is different from the species
H. breviscapa,
which is also white.
C. orientalis
'white.' It is a perennial plant that occurs in the damp areas of
valleys or fields in mountainous regions. In the shape of an oblong,
the radical leaves, with no serrations, form a rosette, measuring
5-20cm long. The 10-30cm tall flower stalks deliver some flowers
sideways in a shortened raceme way, with 1-1.5cm long, white
perianth lobes and swellings at the bases. Bloom time:
April-May. |
