Hydrilla verticillata,
a perennial herb occurring in ponds or flowing waters, make
overwintering buds in the autumn, and they sink on the bottom and
spend the wintertime. Stems extend in the water and set themselves
two to six 1-1.5cm long linear ones in whorls. Dioecious of
hydrophilous flowers: As mature, male flowers float on the water and
let pollen flow to female flowers' stigmas. Bloom Time:
