Hydrocotyle yabei
is a perennial plant in damp places like yards, stone walls,
graveyards, etc. Thread-like stems branch well, crawl on the ground,
and emerge with fibrous roots at nodes to expand. Leaves are 0.4-1cm
in diameter and have a flattened shape, palmately cleft into 5-7
lobes with broadly cut bases. Axils give rise to peduncles and set
2-4 small, greenish flowers. Bloom time: June-October. |
