Hydrocotyle yabei is a
perennial plant that occurs in damp places like yards, stone walls,
graveyards, etc. Thread-like stems branch well, crawl on the ground,
and emerge fibrous roots at nodes to expand. Leaves, 0.4-1cm in
diameter, are in a flattened shape, palmately cleft in 5-7, with
bases broadly cutting in. Axils give peduncles and set 2-4 small
greenish flowers. Bloom time: June-October. |
