Hylotelephium verticillatum is a perennial herb that grows in conglomerate areas or dry riverbeds in mountainous regions. The stems, which are 30-80cm in height, are erect or diagonally upward. Leaves are in whorls of three thick leaves, each 3-8cm long and oblong, with sparsely-set serrations on the margins and white powder on the bottom sides. The stem tops bear compound corymbs with dense, light yellow-green flowers. Bloom time: August-September.
