Ixeris stolonifera
is a perennial herb in sunny places, fields, and mountains. Leaves
are thin, with long petioles; blades measure 0.9-3cm long, 0.8-2.5cm
wide, in the shape of an orbicular-ovate to broad-ovate. Flower
stalks grow to 8-15 cm in height and set one to three 2-2.5 cm in
diameter, yellow flower heads. Involucres are 0.8-1cm long and
cylindrical. Bloom time: April-June. |
