Lamium purpureum,
a European originating biennial herb originating in Europe, with
stems a cross-section of the square, grows to 10-25cm in height.
Leaves are opposite, 1.5-3cm long, in an orbicular-ovate shape, with
obtuse serrations on margins and conspicuous reticulated veins. The
leaves on the upper parts are dense and tinge in red-purple. Axils
on the upper parts set themselves densely, about 1cm long, light red
labiate flowers. Bloom time: April-May. |
