Leucosceptrum stellipilum var. radicans
is a semi-shrub that grows to 0.4-1m in height
in clusters in the shade of a tree. Leaves, 10-20cm long, are of
opposite phyllotaxis in an oblong shape. Many labiate flowers bloom
in cylindrical inflorescences, with stamens and pistils projecting
outward. Bloom time: September-October.
